Five Women, One Faithfulness - Adé & Grace Women of God, August 2026
August has a particular kind of light, the long, slow gold of summer beginning to bend toward something new. It is a month of thresholds: children returning to school, seasons quietly turning, women everywhere taking stock of what the year has asked of them so far.
It felt fitting, then, to spend it in the company of five women who have each, in their own way, made a life out of showing up faithfully, in front of a camera, behind a pulpit, inside a marriage, across a kitchen table.
This month's Women of God are storytellers and ministers, wives and creators, women who have taken the ordinary textures of their days and let God be visible in them. We hope their stories meet you exactly where you are this August.
Madeline Grace
Madeline Grace never set out to build a ministry, she was working as a social media marketer in Southern California when she fell, almost by accident, into the possibilities of Christian TikTok. What began as a single verse shared with a small community has grown into The J.E.S.U.S. Challenge, a daily practice now followed across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, and the subject of her book, a 31-day prayer journal designed to make Scripture feel approachable rather than overwhelming. She also hosts the It's Giving Grace podcast, where she unpacks what it actually looks like to build a sustained, unhurried relationship with God.
What we love most about Madeline is her insistence that intimacy with God doesn't require complexity, just one verse, one day, one honest moment at a time.
The takeaway: Closeness to God is rarely built in one dramatic breakthrough. It's built one ordinary day at a time, on purpose, without an audience.

Micaiah Holly
Micaiah Holly describes herself simply: wife, minister, creator, speaker. Alongside her husband, she's turned the ordinary friction of marriage into something audiences recognize themselves in, proof that faith doesn't need a spotlight to be evident, sometimes it just needs a kitchen, a camera, and the willingness to let people see the real thing.
The takeaway: You don't need a spotlight to be unashamed. You just need to let the ordinary be seen.

Mumen "Mookie" Ngenge
Mumen Ngenge, known to her community as Mookie, is a vocalist, author, philanthropist, and wardrobe stylist whose work sits at an unlikely and delightful intersection: Jesus and Disney. Through worship covers reimagined as princess storytelling and cosplay that carries real theological weight, she has built a platform that speaks to the wonder in faith without losing its seriousness. She is also the founder of Heirborn Charities Inc., extending her creative gifts into tangible service. Mookie's work is a reminder that femininity, imagination, and devotion were never meant to be separated, that a woman can be whimsical and wholly surrendered at once.

This is not a verse about being seen for the sake of being seen. It's a verse about what happens when you stop hiding the thing that's actually true about you.
Light was never meant to be managed, dimmed, or saved for the right audience. It's meant to be let, simply let, to do what light does. The women in this edition aren't shining because they've perfected anything. They're shining because they stopped covering it up.
Five women, five very different platforms, a prayer journal, a pulpit, a skincare shelf, a princess gown, a blended family's dinner table. What binds them isn't a shared format but a shared posture: the decision, made daily, to let God be visible in the specific life they've actually been given. That's the invitation for all of us this August, not to wait for a grander stage, but to be faithful in the one already in front of us.
